A very quick reminder that tomorrow is our Remembrance Day assembly and that there is no school on Friday. If you have a poppy, please wear it to show that we are caring for others, especially the soldiers who fought in the war.
Today we practiced dribbling basketballs. We all did our best trying to dribble as we walked along a line.
We read a book called It's Okay to Make Mistakes. We read that when you make a mistake (uh oh!) we can learn and grow.
Here is a picture of our weekly message. We have circled the beginning and ending of sentences, as well as words that we saw more than once.
Room 5 worked on creating number puzzles for numbers 1 - 5. Students wrote the number, the number word, and drew the correct number of objects onto puzzle pieces.
In the afternoon we created silly sentences, formed our names out of playdough, used magnifying glasses to find words beginning with specific letters in books, built words from letter blocks, and even wrote words upside down!
