Students played a fun game called "Garbage" this morning in gym. Usually the goal of many games is to score as many points as possible by collecting objects. This time, the goal was to keep the garbage off the team's side. Ask your son or daughter about the rules.
Usually after gym and our morning meeting we work on math skills. Today I decided to complete the art from yesterday since masterpieces were drying on desks. Students decided if their art was complete, according to Mrs. Stables directions.
Do you know Spiderman? What about the theme song? This is the song we are learning in Music.
Did you know that just because something is longer or taller it does not mean it is heavier? Interesting! We discovered this during math.
Congratulations to Raina who raised money for Jump Rope for Heart. She was awarded a skipping rope and a Hippity Hop Ball. Great job!
Two notices should be in your son or daughter's home folder. One is for the next Fun Lunch, and the other is a call for books.
Please note, should you be interested to volunteer in our class, you must have a volunteer security clearance completed. Please stop by to see Ms. Cumming in the office and she will help guide you to facilitate this process. Unfortunately until you have this clearance we will not be able to welcome you into the classrooms or on field trips. We love volunteers!
