Sorting Day

Good afternoon!

Today we started to sort all the beautiful "stuff" collected in the brown paper bags. The students shared with me examples of the types of things they sort and how they are sorted. John said he sorts his clothes in one drawer and his friend's in another. Raina said she sometimes sorts things by colour. Some other ways to sort things include small or big, and clean or dirty. Someone suggested we sort people in the school by grade!

Here are a few picture of some of the items we sorted today, in preparation for our Alphabet Art:

Do you think we did a great job of sorting? We do!

Today we really tried hard to Read to Self but only made it to...5 seconds the first time! Practice, practice, practice. The students shared they felt they could improve, and I assured them they will.

Don't forget if you are donating a Toonie for Terry to bring the money in by Friday.

Thank you,

Ms. Cokar
