No Class No!

Today we read about a little boy named David who needed reminders of what NOT to do in the classroom. Room 5 put on their thinking caps and we created a "No, Class, No!" list. Some of the ideas included:

• No colouring on the desk
• No pushing
• No screaming
• No chewing gum
• No being silly
• No budging the line
• No pinching Ms. Cokar
• No hurting our friends
• No distracting or interrupting
• No shouting
• No eating unless it is recess or lunch
• No being rude
• No being mean
• No throwing things
• No pulling a chair away when someone is about to sit
• No making noises
• And so much more!

We hope the No, Class, No! list will be followed in the classroom, as the students demonstrate Pillars of Care.

In music class we explored instruments like the drums, egg shakers, and the tambourine.

Did you know there are three ways to read a book? Today we learned those three ways:

1. Read the pictures
2. Read the words
3. Retell the story

Ask your child if he or she remembers the three ways and can read a story with you tonight!
