This morning in gym, Grade 1s practiced relay races. This involved team work and using our coordination when the baton was changing hands. It was wonderful to hear everyone cheering for their friends, encouraging them to run the fastest they could!

Recently I have noticed a number of students who have not been demonstrating Pillars of Care. For the past 9 months of school, we have been discussing the importance of care. I have had a couple of serious talks with the students and would appreciate your support in discussing care for others, including using kind words and gentle hands.
All library books are due this Wednesday! Lost book notices will be sent home, with the name of the book and the associated fee.
On Friday, June 23, the three Grade 1 classes will be on a field trip to the Calgary Zoo. If you have your volunteer clearance, please let me know ASAP. We need at least 4 volunteers for our class!
