Good afternoon,

Today was our Pillars of Care assembly. I am proud of all my students and the care they show in multiple ways, every day. This month's recipients are:

Care for Self - Karter
Care for Others - Ally
Care for Place - Carman
Care for Learning - Tamika

I am also very proud of Logan for reading the Acknowledgement of Our Land before the assembly started. Logan, you did a fantastic job!

Over the next couple of days your son or daughter will be coming home with work/art/activities we have completed. This way, there will be less to carry home on the very last day of school.

Speaking of the last day of school, please let me know ASAP if your child will NOT be here next Wednesday as I do have something important to hand out.

P.S. I have a fabulous collection of Tupperware, Rubbermaid, Ziplock, Glad, etc. containers. At least 15! If you are missing one or five, please ask your son or daughter to check our lunch bin. These items, and clothes and accessories left in the classroom, will be taken down to the lost and found (front doors) this Friday. They will then be collected and donated June 30.

Regarding the Zoo field trip, please ensure to pack a very healthy snack and lunch, water bottle, hat, sunscreen, sunglasses, etc. Maybe kleenex or wipes! Are outdoor shoes comfortable for walking? Please check the weather forecast, too.
