Good afternoon!

My apologies for not posting yesterday. If your son or daughter has not already told you, I was away today and I will be away tomorrow as I try to feel better. They are in the very capable hands of Ms. Zimmerman, whom they know.

In math we have started talking about subtraction. What does it mean, how can it be represented, what are the vocabulary words we need to learn, etc. Subtraction, take away, minus, difference, number sentences, oh my! Did you know that addition and subtraction are related, which makes figuring out fact families easier? This is something we will discover soon.

Is everyone doing their 15 minutes of Raz Kids and 15 minutes of Mathletcis? And home reading?

I will have more to share once I connect with Ms. Zimmerman tomorrow.
