Good afternoon!
Today we had a busy and productive day, beginning with Mission Impossible and ending with adding to our 100 minutes of reading. In between we talked about the importance of counting to 100 by 1s, 2s, 5s and 10s, Pillars of Care, and community.
We had our fabulous volunteers, Ms. Connie and Ms. Jen, help with making Chinese New Year lanterns. There were A LOT of steps to follow and the results were spectacular due to the fierce concentration required to precisely cut and glue! What do you think?
Students are enjoying using this week's sight words and had fun trying to make one sentence with all the words: Up we go for all...the cheesecake! (Unless Ms. Cokar ate it first!)
Reminders:
* January 27 - Report cards will be sent home
* January 30 - Swim forms and payment due
* January 31 - Pillars of Care assembly at 1:45
Have a great evening!
